Builds & Playstyle
The Wooden-Handled Dual Blades are the Shadowstrix’s on-ramp to the Dual Blades route — the Common-tier pair where the pursuit game is meant to be learned. With a flat 20 Attack and no modifier, they favor no specific build: your output comes entirely from Flurry Strike chains, Wound upkeep, and knowing when to cash out with Phantom Shift before the target’s team arrives.
- Where it sits: the bottom of the real Dual Blades ladder (Combat Value 200), above the damaged Rusty Wooden-Handled Dual Blades (CV 100) and below the modifier-carrying Veil Dual Blades (Rare).
- When to use it: your opening sessions as a Shadowstrix while you learn attack-chain timing and Energy discipline.
- When to swap: once a Rare or better pair drops, or as soon as you can afford one — the Wooden-Handled pair is a freebie, not a keeper.
Community note: launch-window guides describe the Dual Blades branch as the Shadowstrix’s PvP pursuit style and assume you replace the Common pair early; no tier list ranks individual Dual Blades. That is community opinion from the launch window, not official data.
