The Obsidian Sledgehammer is where the hammer family enters the endgame conversation. At 35 Attack and Combat Value 500 it is the first hammer that wants Epic-tier sources — the database lists it from Gilded Chests and Gift of Fate (2.4% each) rather than the Common/Rare treasure racks — and the Mercenary build guide names it among the branch’s example weapons.

• Where it sits: the upper half of the hammer ladder — above the Magica Hammer (Excellent, CV 400), below the Legendary Skullcrusher (CV 600).
