Builds & Playstyle

The Magica Hammer is the first hammer where the Mercenary’s damage genuinely shows up — 29 Attack at Combat Value 400, dead center of the ladder. Despite the name, the stat sheet is pure physical: no magic modifier appears on it, so it plays exactly like any other hammer, just harder. That makes it the natural main for the Super Armor-heavy Hammer build loop through the midgame.

• Where it sits: the middle of the hammer ladder — above the Military Hammer (Rare, CV 300), below the Obsidian Sledgehammer (Epic, CV 500).
• When to use it: your main hammer through the midgame, while you farm toward the Epic tier.
• When to swap: when an Epic or better hammer shows up — the Excellent tier is where the Mercenary settles, not where it peaks.
