The Carved Dagger is the Shadowstrix’s on-ramp to the Dagger route — the Common-tier blade whose lore (“light and nimble, spinning and turning easily in the hand”) matches exactly how the branch plays. Its stat sheet lists 20 Attack Power with no Combat Value (the older-format entries omit it), which leaves nothing to hide behind: Sneak into position, Shadow Wheel Slash chains, and out before the target can respond.

Where it sits: the bottom of the practical Dagger ladder — a step above the damaged Worn Carved Dagger (CV 100), below the Rare Fang-Piercer Dagger (CV 300) and the modifier-carrying Venomfang Dagger.
When to use it: your opening sessions as a Shadowstrix while you learn Stealth timing and combo resets.
When to swap: once a Rare or better dagger drops, or as soon as you can afford one — the Carved Dagger is a freebie, not a keeper.
