Builds & Playstyle

The Empyrean Rain Staff is the Sorcerer’s midgame-to-endgame workhorse — the Epic step (35 Attack, +6.00% Magic Damage) at which the class’s damage genuinely starts to carry raids. Its lore captures the tension simmering inside Brandrgarde between sorcerers and priests, which fits how it plays: this is a staff for a Sorcerer confident enough in their chant timing to let big spells decide fights. It works with both schools and feels especially complete in the Stardust trio build, where Gravitational Vortex and Meteor Impact want the extra Magic Damage behind them.

Where it sits: the top of the “realistic” ladder (CV 500) — above the Convergence Staff (CV 400), below the Blind Eye Staff (Legendary, CV 600) and the Moon Deity relics (Holy, CV 700).
When to use it: Chaos and endgame content, and any lobby where you plan to extract with a valuable weapon.
When to swap: only when a Legendary or Holy staff drops for you — for most players this is the endgame weapon.
